We have been advised by the PSNI today that the A43 (Waterfoot to Glenariff) is
closed at the junction with A2 (Coast Road) in the village of Waterfoot. Anyone
travelling is advised to use the A43 (known locally as the Cushendall Road) from
Ballymena/Broughshane.
Anyone travelling from Larne via the Coast Road is advised that they may use
the Glen Road in Waterfoot, but this is a very narrow country road and is not
suitable for horse lorries as there are a number of tight bends. |

Don't Forget now!
Please pay ride organisers in the
correct currency! In other words, events in Northern Ireland - Sterling,
in the Republic – Euro. Whilst some organisers have been extremely
accommodating and have accepted both currencies at their events, it is far
easier to “balance the books” at the end of the day if they are paid in the
correct currency. It means they can pay bills on the day instead of waiting to
change currency at a later date.
Make sure that you let ride
organsiers know your intention to travel to their event giving at least 7 days
notice, CTR entry forms are available to download on the website, or are
available from ride organisers, Branch committees etc. This is to facilitate
parking arrangements, Veterinary and First Aid requirements, etc.
SAY THANK YOU to the ride
organiser and assistants, they have put a lot of time and effort in to making
the day possible, a simple word of appreciation goes a long way.
There will be additions, alternatives, cancellations etc. so
please make sure you keep in touch with Branch reps and ride organisers, as new
information reaches us, we will be able to make changes.
