ILDRA CROCKNAGRALLY RIDE

ILDRA held a Competitive Trail Ride and Pleasure Ride at Crocknagrally near Fivemiletown on Sunday July 24th . The full route was 24miles (the longer distances had to be cancelled due to the deterioration of some of the tracks). In total 9 riders completed CTRs. Gail Baillie who completed her first CTR on “I’m Not Quickly!” (and despite the name, the horse went quite quickly enough on the day!)

Other completions were: Ian Gault on ID’s Double Trouble; Lana Cheney on Angus; Maeve Lunney on Sam; Kerry Burch on Tory; Ruth Sedgeman on Questhill Endeavour; Helen McFarland on Just Paddy; Judith Hyndmann on Ardkill Mo and Rosemary York on Akiel.

Thirteen Pleasure riders took part and were able to choose from various shortened loops of the full distance. Fermanagh Pony Club members, Samantha and Shannon Balfour completed their first Pleasure Ride with ILDRA by covering eighteen miles at a gentle pace. Well done to both! They rode with Sally Burch and her daughter Shona.

(CTRs are not available at this ride.) ILDRA is delighted to welcome non-members to Pleasure Rides. Please note that juniors under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
