| ILDRA RIDE AT CASTLE WARD National Trust Property 2006 | ||||||||||||

|
Sunday saw ILDRA hold its last ride of the season at Castleward Forest. The day turned out to be a great success with a record 106 riders braving the cold to take part. There was a wide range of riders with even an eventer coming along, (and possibly being converted to the endurance way of doing things). Sarah McLean rode out on Bedonia, and although she found her and the caged stirrups just a bit different to what she was used to, she had a great day and was soon looking forward to another ride out. It just goes to show that endurance can be for everyone, so come along and give it a go. Kelsie Erskine has to take the prize for the most riders brought along on the day. With 2 daughters and 10 Grandchildren coming along, (7 of which rode), she had a very busy day. Thanks must go to Mr and Mrs Sandford for use of the ground, an enjoyable day was had by all.
